Quest offers a range of free learning resources for you to use at your leisure.
	LearnDirect Scotland, Learning Bytes LearningBytes - literally hundreds of courses, covering a wide range of areas including business skills, life skills, IT skills, elearning tasters, and many sector-specific skills such as agriculture, childcare, tourism, etc. Click here to access Learning Bytes.

	UK Newsstand UK Newsstand is an online service developed to provide national and regional news, combining the most popular British newspaper titles in one database. This database detailed indexing helps users quickly find the news information they need. Each issue of each newspaper is indexed thoroughly, so researchers have access to not only top news stories but also the information contained on the various sections of the papers. 	Britannica Online Updated for 2009, the award-winning Britannica Online is faster, easier, and more efficient. A more user-friendly interface provides better organized and richer results. Additional features include news headlines and a research organizer, making Encyclopædia Britannica Online the the comprehensive resource your users need. Britannica Online Library Edition is now available with 3 age specific sections: Encyclopædia Britannica for age group 18 and over. Britannica Student for age group - 12 to 18. Britannica Junior for age group - 5 to 11.

	ScotlandsPeople is the official government source for genealogical data for Scotland. West Dunbartonshire Libraries are participating in a voucher scheme which allows library members a discounted rate to access the ScotlandsPeople genealogical website.
