	For the local studies enthusiast, there is a wide range of material to be found at our two largest libraries: Clydebank and Dumbarton. Among the many items that can be consulted are: Books Maps Photographs & Prints Newspapers Archives Cuttings & Indexes Audiovisual Materials We also have many family history resources - our family history pages will shortly be moving to LibraryOnline, so watch this space! All other libraries have a small collection of books on the local area.

Local History Week 2012


	The Hardgate and Duntocher Heritage Trail Sunday 4th March 1:30 pm Including visits to the sites of the Roman Fort, Bath House and Bridge, Dalnottar iron works, woollen/ cotton mills as well as former Duntocher Hibs football ground and the site of Hardgate quoiting club. The walk will start from the car park at Hardgate roundabout entrance to Goldenhill Park at 1.30pm and last between 2 – 3 hours.
